Jadeed Solutions vs Hostinger (and DIY website builders)

Hosting companies and website builders such as Hostinger, Wix and Squarespace make it cheap and quick to get a site online. For some businesses that is enough. For a local service business that wants the website to bring in calls, being online is only the first step.

The short answer

A DIY builder is a sensible start if your budget is very small, you enjoy doing it yourself and you mainly need somewhere to point customers who already know you. If you want the website to win new customers from Google and turn visits into calls and bookings, you need structure, local SEO, tracking and ongoing work that a template does not provide.

Choose Hostinger & DIY builders if

  • You are just starting out and need a simple online presence quickly and cheaply.
  • Most of your work comes from referrals, and the site is mainly for credibility.
  • You enjoy building and updating the site yourself and have the time to do it.
  • You want to test a new business idea before investing in it.

Choose Jadeed if

  • You want your website to bring in new customers from Google, not just exist.
  • You do not have the time to learn local SEO, tracking and conversion design.
  • You want a fast, mobile-first site built around your services and areas.
  • You want ongoing SEO and reporting, not a one-time build.

Hosting is not marketing

Hostinger is primarily a hosting company: it provides the servers, domains, email and tools — including a website builder and WordPress hosting — that put a site on the internet. Builders like Wix and Squarespace bundle hosting and a drag-and-drop editor. All of them solve the problem of being online.

A local service business usually has a different problem: being chosen. That depends on things no hosting plan includes:

  • Showing up in Google Maps and search for the services and areas you want.
  • A structure with a page for each service, not one page listing everything.
  • Clear prices, proof and registrations that make a visitor trust you.
  • A mobile layout that turns an emergency visitor into a phone call within seconds.
  • Tracking that shows which pages and searches produce enquiries.
  • Someone improving all of it month after month.

A builder gives you the tools. The strategy, content and ongoing work are still yours to do.

Where DIY sites usually fall short

We regularly rebuild sites that started on builders. The same issues come up:

  1. One page tries to do everything. Without separate service pages, it is hard to rank for “end of tenancy cleaning” and “office cleaning” at the same time.
  2. The phone number is hard to tap. It is an image, buried in the footer, or not a link on mobile.
  3. Stock photos instead of real work. They look polished and build no trust.
  4. Slow pages on mobile. Large images, sliders and add-ons push loading times up — see the Core Web Vitals targets in our 2026 SEO checklist.
  5. No conversion tracking. The owner cannot tell whether the site produces any enquiries at all.
  6. Nothing changes after launch. The site is finished, then left alone while competitors keep improving.

None of these are the builder’s fault. They are the parts a template cannot do for you.

What a built-for-bookings site includes

When we build a website for a local service business, the structure comes from how your customers search and decide:

  • A page per core service, with what is included, price guidance, process, reviews and FAQs.
  • Areas covered, with separate area pages only where there is genuine local content to show.
  • Trust in the first screen — rating, registrations, real photos, guarantees.
  • Tap-to-call and WhatsApp reachable from every page on mobile.
  • Short enquiry forms validated properly, so genuine enquiries are never lost.
  • Tracking from day one for calls, forms and WhatsApp clicks.
  • Technical SEO built in — metadata, sitemap, structured data and fast loading — which is why we usually build on Next.js.

Everything is set up under your business’s own accounts — domain, hosting and code — so you keep full control.

If your time is worth more on jobs than on web design, the cheaper option on paper can be the more expensive one in practice. See web development and pricing.

If you do build it yourself

A DIY site can still work hard for you. Prioritise these:

  1. Register the domain in your own name and keep the login safe.
  2. Make the phone number a tap-to-call link at the top of every page.
  3. Create a page for each main service, with prices or a “from” price.
  4. Use real photos of your team and work.
  5. Add your reviews, registrations and insurance details.
  6. Connect Google Search Console and set up conversion tracking for calls and forms.
  7. Keep your business name, address and phone identical to your Google Business Profile.

When the site is doing its job and you want more from Google, that is a natural point to bring in SEO help.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Can you rebuild my Hostinger or Wix site?
Yes. We rebuild into a fast, mobile-first site designed to convert, redirect your old URLs so you keep any rankings you have, and move the domain and hosting into accounts you own.
Can I keep my domain and email?
Yes. Your domain and email stay yours; we point the domain at the new site without disrupting your email.
Will I be able to edit the new site?
Yes, if we connect a content editor — or we make changes for you as part of an ongoing plan. We agree which suits you before the build.
Is a builder site bad for SEO?
Not inherently. Many rank well. The difference is usually the structure, content, local SEO work and tracking around the site, not the builder itself.
