Jadeed Solutions vs Fiverr for local service growth

Fiverr is a fast, affordable way to buy a defined task. Growing a plumbing, cleaning or removals business is not a single task — it is a system that has to be run, measured and improved every month. This page compares the two honestly, including when Fiverr is the right call.

Verdict

The short answer

Use Fiverr when you know exactly what you need and can manage it yourself: a logo, a banner, a one-off fix. Use a growth partner like Jadeed when the goal is more booked jobs month after month, and you want one accountable team for the website, Google visibility, ads and tracking.

Choose Fiverr freelancers if

  • You need a small, clearly defined deliverable — a logo, a flyer, a single landing page tweak.
  • You have the time and knowledge to brief, check and manage the work yourself.
  • Your budget is very small and a one-off purchase is all you can commit to right now.
  • You are testing an idea before investing in it properly.

Choose Jadeed if

  • You want more calls and bookings, not a list of completed tasks.
  • You would rather have one team own the website, SEO, ads and tracking than coordinate several freelancers.
  • You want results measured in enquiries and booked jobs, with monthly reporting.
  • You want the option of paying from the bookings the work generates.

What Fiverr is genuinely good at

Fiverr is a marketplace where freelancers sell packaged services called gigs. It is quick to use, prices are visible up front, and for well-defined creative or technical tasks it can be excellent value. Many good freelancers work there — our own founder started his career on freelance marketplaces before founding Jadeed Solutions.

For a local service business, Fiverr works well for:

  • A logo, business card or van livery design.
  • Social media graphics or a short promotional video.
  • A specific technical fix you can describe precisely.
  • Copywriting for a single page when you already know what it should say.

In each case, you know what “done” looks like, you can judge the result yourself, and there is nothing to run after delivery.

Where the gig model struggles for local growth

Winning more local jobs online is not one deliverable. It is a set of connected pieces — Google Business Profile, a website that converts on mobile, service pages, reviews, tracking, often ads — that only work when someone looks after all of them together and adjusts them month by month.

The gig model makes that hard in a few predictable ways:

  1. You become the project manager. One seller builds the site, another “does SEO”, a third runs ads. Each is measured on their own deliverable, and nobody owns the overall result.
  2. “SEO packages” are often activity, not outcomes. A gig promising a number of backlinks or a “full SEO audit” can be delivered exactly as described without producing a single extra call — and some link packages break Google’s spam policies.
  3. Accountability ends at delivery. Once an order is complete, there is usually no reason for the seller to care whether it worked.
  4. Account ownership can be unclear. Ad accounts, domains and profiles set up under a freelancer’s own login can be hard to recover later. Whoever you hire, make sure these are in your business’s name.
  5. Tracking is rarely part of a gig. Without call and form tracking, you cannot tell which purchase produced any bookings.

How Jadeed works differently

We are a small, founder-led team working with around ten active clients, focused on local service businesses. Instead of selling tasks, we run the whole path from search to booked job:

  • One plan covering your Business Profile, website, SEO content, reviews, ads and tracking.
  • Measured on enquiries and bookings, with monthly reporting that ties rankings and campaigns to calls, forms and jobs.
  • You own every account — domain, hosting, Google Business Profile, analytics and ad accounts are in your business’s name, with us added as users.
  • Direct communication with the people doing the work, by WhatsApp, phone and email.
  • A choice of commercial models: fixed-fee plans, or a performance or tiered deal where fees follow the bookings the work generates.

The Alpha Movers case study shows what that looks like in practice: website, app, SEO, social and ads built and run together, paid through a 10% after-booking model the client chose.

Comparing the real cost

On price per task, Fiverr is often cheaper. The fair comparison is cost per booked job, which includes things a gig price leaves out:

CostWith several freelancersWith a growth partner
The work itselfSum of individual gigs, plus marketplace feesPlan fee, or a share of bookings generated
Your timeBriefing, checking and coordinating each gigA monthly review call and approvals
ReworkCommon when separate pieces do not fit togetherHandled inside the plan
Wasted spendAds or content nobody is measuringTracked and adjusted monthly
Switching laterRecovering accounts and rebuilding trackingAccounts are already yours

Our fixed plans start from £100 a month for SEO (six-month minimum) and £199 for a starter website. Performance deals are typically around 10% of revenue from bookings we generate, on a 12–24 month term. See pricing for detail, and the Profit-Share Handbook for how performance deals are set up.

If you do hire on Fiverr, protect yourself

Whoever you hire, these steps avoid the most expensive problems:

  • Create the domain, hosting, Google Business Profile, analytics and ad accounts under your own business email, and add the freelancer as a user.
  • Agree in writing that you own the website files, content and designs once paid for.
  • Ask for tracking to be set up so you can see calls and enquiries, not just traffic.
  • Avoid “guaranteed rankings” and bulk backlink gigs.
  • Keep a simple list of every account, login owner and who has access.
FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Is Jadeed cheaper than Fiverr?
Per task, usually not — gigs are priced to be cheap. Per booked job, often yes, because the work is joined up, tracked and adjusted instead of bought piece by piece. See pricing.
Can I buy only a website or only SEO from Jadeed?
Yes. Fixed-scope websites and SEO plans are available on their own. The performance partnership is optional.
Can you take over work a Fiverr freelancer started?
Yes. We start by checking who owns each account, then audit what exists and keep anything worth keeping.
Do you work only with local service businesses?
That is our focus — movers, cleaners, plumbers, contractors and similar businesses in the UK, the US, Canada, the UAE and other markets.
